Mrs. Fields Fabulous Christmas Class

We have been very busy this month.; We are making Christmas presents for our parents. They will love them! Our class is working very hard in the Reading Rally Race. Our goal is 150 books. We want to win the race by reading the most books in 1st grade; I know we can do it!!; We had a Christmas concert this past week. We sang Christmas Carols for our parents. It was a fantastic program.; In math, we are learning all about place value and counting 10 more and 10 less. Last week, 1st grade visited each classroom to learn about different countries and how they celebrate Christmas. We made all sorts of crafts that represented each country and how they celebrate Christmas. Next Thursday, we will have Polar Express Day.  We plan on wearing our pajamas and drinking hot chocolate while we watch the movie. We also have a special visitor that came from the North Pole. His name is Elvin. He leaves goodies each night for our class; He makes sure that we are all being good listeners and following directions. He stays very busy! Tune back in later for a class update! Merry Christmas!
