WHO KNEW 2D MATH STATIONS COULD BE SO MUCH FUN!

Our class has been working on 2D Shapes in math.  We use our problem solving  journal each day before we start our math stations.  We introduce the problem and students discuss how to solve with a partner.  Next, the students solve the problem independently.  They must show how their work showing exactly how they solved the problem.  They share the strategies they used with the class.  Math talks help the students learn different ways to solve a problem and help reinforce daily what is being taught.
